Privacy Policy

We want to be specific rather than reassuring, so here is what this site genuinely does not do:

• No cookies. The site stores nothing in your browser — no cookies, no local storage, no session storage.
• No analytics. There is no Google Analytics, no tag manager, no pixel, and no third-party tracking script of any kind.
• No accounts. There is nothing to sign up for, so there are no credentials or profiles to store.
• No third-party fonts. Our typefaces are bundled into the site itself at build time. Your browser never requests them from Google or any other font host.
• No sale of personal data. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We have none to sell.

If you use the contact form, you send us a name, an email address, and a message. We use that solely to reply to you.

The form is processed by Formspree, a third-party service that receives your submission and forwards it to us. Your data passes through their systems and is subject to their handling practices — see the Formspree Privacy Policy. If you would rather not use a third-party form, you are welcome to reach us through any of our community channels instead.

This is the one disclosure most worth reading. The pages under /network display live blockchain data, and that data is fetched by your own browser, directly from a Crystal node — it is not proxied through this website.

Your browser therefore makes network requests to that node, which means the node's operator can observe your IP address and the requests you make, in the same way any web server can. Those pages also keep an open connection for live updates while the page is in view. If you prefer not to contact a node, simply do not visit the network pages; the rest of the site makes no such requests.

This site is served as static files by a hosting provider, which may keep standard access logs — typically IP address, timestamp, requested page, and user agent. These are generated by the host as a normal part of serving web traffic, are retained under that provider's own policies, and are not used by us to identify or profile visitors.

Anything you do on the Crystal network itself — transactions, staking, contract calls — is recorded on a public blockchain. That is inherent to how a public ledger works. It is not collected by this website, we cannot alter or erase it, and it is visible to anyone. Please keep that in mind when transacting.

Because we hold almost nothing, most data requests resolve quickly. If you have sent us a message through the contact form and would like a copy of it or want it deleted, contact us and we will do so. We cannot delete anything recorded on the public blockchain, as described above.

If we change how this site handles data, we will update this page and revise the date at the top. Since we operate no accounts and hold no mailing list, we have no way to notify you directly — checking this page is the reliable method.
